Telindus Isit - The Network & Storage Company
Telindus ISIT renews storage environment Mondriaan Zorggroep in the Netherlands. Mondriaan Zorggroep is a mental health institution with high ambitions.
Telindus ISIT, part of the Belgacom Group, specializes in convergence of voice, data, video, storage and security. The organization is characterized by objective advice
and innovations. As "The Network & Storage Company" gives it as one of the few in the market, fully integrated end-to-end network and storage solutions.
The Mondriaan Zorggroep wrote an RFP for a solution for the next three to five years. This was won by Telindus ISIT, the supplier that built also the old environment. Within Mondriaan Zorggroep, I am responsible for Storage and virtualisation. Together with Telindus ISIT we designed a new architecture and implemented it.
The solution they proposed responded best to our problem.
In addition, Telindus ISIT has the highest EMC certification, which means we get the best possible support. And finally together we had a migration plan in which downtime was minimal. The project was completed in three months time, on time and within budget. The good project preparation where there to blame ;). These are details that make the difference. This project was in every detail well thought out, there was no discussion about it. The migration was therefore fully in line with expectations according myself.
The migration was also a unique opportunity to test failover procedures in Mondriaans failover site. The staff and personal of Mondriaan Zorggroep has not noticed it.
The CLARiiON CX4 Series is the latest generation of the market-leading CLARiiON family of networked storage systems and a midrange storage leading benchmark of 'Five 9's' of availability - 99.999 percent uptime.
